Good Shepherd Samoan Assembly of God Church Sunnyvale is blessed to have a Sunday School team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our Sunday School Staff and their qualifications for ministry.

Jean M. Savusa

GSC Sunday School Co-Lead

Jean has been a faithful member of the Good Shepherd Assembly of God Samoan Church since its founding in 1993. She has served in various leadership roles, including Sunday School President, Youth Ministry Advisor, Worship Ministry member, and Leadership Committee participant. Known for her servant’s heart, Jean is deeply committed to supporting the church in any capacity, always striving to honor God through her service.

Senior Elder Elisapeta M. Savusa

President of GSC Sunday School

In 1993, Mrs. Elisapeta, together with her late husband, Reverend Malaia M. Savusa, established the Good Shepherd Assembly of God Samoan Church in Sunnyvale, California. Since its founding, she has remained steadfast in her commitment to the church, currently serving as a member of the Church Board, an active participant in the Women’s Ministry, and the President of the Sunday School Ministry. With over five decades of faithful service in ministry, Mrs. Elisapeta is esteemed for her warm and engaging demeanor, her dedication to nurturing others, and her exceptional creativity—particularly within the Sunday School program, a ministry to which she feels deeply and purposefully called.
